Ocean Aware Network: a new Christchurch based website providing news and information on marine issues: http://www.oceanaware.info/. It'll update news at the beginning of each month (beginning October) and is intended as a regional & national network. Ocean Aware is keen to receive contributions about marine and coastal events, and subscribers to the monthly newsletter.

Coming up next month: Election forum on sustainability: A chance to grill (broil, roast, etc) aspiring MPs. So far four parties (Labour, National, the Greens, the Progressives) have accepted an invitation to outline how their policies contribute to a sustainable future for NZ, followed by a series of prepared questions and then questions from the floor.
