Mt Cass Ridge Protection Society wants MainPower to move wind farm proposal to another site. (17 July, Stuff).


Dr Mathis Wackernagel to talk in Christchurch on Monday: one of the originators of the term ecological footprint and a director of California based Global Footprint Network. The ecological footprint is a resource management tool that measures how much land and water area a human population requires to produce the resources it consumes and to absorb its wastes under prevailing technology.
